Our caregivers are not only qualified and experienced, but we also provide them with extensive signature specialty training opportunities to make a positive impact on our clients and provide services based on individualized care plans. Our caregivers receive additional training in the following areas.
Exclusive Fall Prevention Training
Our caregivers are certified by the Fall Prevention Program of Contra Costa County and are trained in fall risk factors and prevention strategies. Our caregivers have extensive training in home safety and organization, medication accuracy and reconciliation, and shower safety measures.
Whole 24™ Diagnosis-Specific Nutrition
We partnered with registered dietitians to develop our diagnosis-specific nutrition guides, recipes and training program, Whole 24™. Our caregivers work with clients to assess their nutritional needs, create unique meal plans and shop for groceries. To complement our nutrition book, we have also produced the Whole 24™ Healthy Cooking Video Series, found here, to assist our caregivers and seniors on how to recreate the delicious recipes from the book.
Industry-Leading Alzheimer’s & Dementia Training
Our caregivers receive Alzheimer’s and Dementia training created specifically by Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles. These trainings focus on person-centered care, having a positive attitude and using a gentle approach for patients.
American Red Cross PREPAREU-Trained Caregivers
We collaborated with the American Red Cross to train our caregivers on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness for our clients. The training covers the three essentials of being “Red Cross Ready”: creating an emergency kit, making a plan, and being informed.
24Transitions: Transitional Care Training
24 Hour Home Care is one of the first home care companies to develop caregiver training focused on client transitional care and readmission prevention, promoting self-care and independence, with the goal of helping clients age in the comfort of their own home.
