24 Hour Home Care, a nonmedical in-home care provider founded in the South Bay, has been awarded “Best In Home Care” in the Easy Reader News’ annual readers’ choice competition, “Best of the Beach.” Thousands of residents in the beach cities voted for their favorite people, organizations, and shops, in nearly 100 categories. The awards recognize local businesses for their contributions to the neighborhood and overall client satisfaction.
“Our Torrance office opened its doors to the public 9 years ago, and was the company’s flagship brick-and-mortar location. Since then, we have grown to thirteen locations. We really have the South Bay community to thank, because if we didn’t have the support of South Bay residents during that first year, 24 Hour Home Care wouldn’t have a second location, let alone a third,” said Michelle Haenel, 24 Hour Home Care Torrance General Manager. “We thank you for your support then, and we thank you for your support now in voting us the best in home care around.”
24 Hour Home Care provides professional caregiving services to seniors and children/adults with developmental disabilities, assisting them with services including, but not limited to, personal care, medication management, meal preparation and transportation. Each 24 Hour Home Care Caregiver has completed a rigorous interview process and receives continuous training on fall prevention, diagnosis-specific nutrition, and Alzheimer’s and Dementia care.
This recent award comes on the heels of HomeCare Pulse’s recent recognition of 24 Hour Home Care as a Provider of Choice, among many other accolades.
