On Saturday, April 19th, 24 Hour Home Care was an official sponsor of Battleground Crossfit, an amateur athletic competition. Battleground Crossfit brought together socially conscious individuals from the Los Angeles-South Bay community to raise funding to combat Autism, as well as promote awareness for the diagnosis.
To spread awareness on Autism and its causes and treatment, 24 Hour Home Care gave away blue sunglasses to competition participants and attendees. Those who received sunglasses took photos while wearing them, and shared these photos on facebook in support of the cause.
Our company’s very own Ryan Iwamoto, Owner and Co-founder, was a Battleground Crossfit competitor, finishing 6th place in his division. All in all, the competition raised $5,797 to go toward Autism research, education programs, and families and individuals affected by the diagnosis.
