Want to learn more about 24 Hour Home Care’s Social Recreation Program? Check out some of the most frequently asked questions below!

24 Hour Home Care is now offering “Social Recreation” a program that aims to provide socialization and recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages served by California’s regional centers. Examples of Social Recreation activities include playing on a sports team, learning an instrument, or participating in a group class. Please note that at this time, not all regional centers are approved for Social Recreation.

As part of the program, the selected provider, usually chosen by the family, is trained to identify appropriate activities for individuals based on their interests and goals. Throughout the process, they work with the individual to achieve their personal goals, promote inclusion in a recreational space, and further the individual’s skill development. Social Recreation enables participants to learn and practice socialization while also having fun and feeling fully supported.
