Join us at the Los Angeles Walk to End Alzheimer’s This Sunday, 11/2
Alzheimer’s disease is one of the most common diagnoses amongst our loved ones. It is the most common form of dementia, a progressive disease that impacts daily living by affecting memory, thinking, and behavior. Brain cells degenerate and die out, hindering an individual’s mental function gradually, as it progresses through three general stages. One in ten people over 65 years of age have Alzheimer’s, and over 15 million Americans will be diagnosed with the disease by 2050.
Currently, Alzheimer’s management strategies and medications can only temporarily alleviate symptoms. 24 Hour Home Care is actively supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s- Los Angeles to help find a cure for the devastating disease. As a Silver Sponsor, 24 Hour Home Care staff will be maintaining an informational booth at the walk the morning of, to discuss the many Alzheimer’s-specific resources we have made available to our seniors and Caregivers.
You can play a role in ending Alzheimer’s disease. Join us in our fight Alzheimer’s by registering to walk with us here.
