24 Hour Home Care Caregivers Receive Fall Prevention Training
Many of your loved ones may be recovering from a major illness or surgery, or having general difficulties with ambulation or falls. 24 Hour Home Care’s Caregivers are trained to reduce your loved one’s risk of falling to prevent injuries and traumas that falls may cause.
In conjunction with the Fall Prevention Program of Contra Costa County, 24 Hour Home Care developed a proprietary Fall Prevention Certification training program for our staff and Caregivers. Our Human Resources staff attends a Fall Prevention Trainer course to become certified Fall Prevention Trainers, and train each of our Caregivers to become Fall Prevention Certified. 24 Hour Home Care is one of the few homecare companies to have developed an innovative training program to combat falls.
Our training program covers a wide range of topics, such as providing aging adults with proper nutrition and hydration, home safety and organization, medication accuracy and reconciliation, and shower safety measures.
