24 Hour Home Care’s 2nd Annual Power of Pink Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness

24 Hour Home Care proudly shows its support for  breast cancer awareness in October.

During this time, the company’s staff members will trade in their customary light blue polo shirts for pink ones to raise awareness for the 2nd Annual Power of Pink Breast Cancer Campaign. With this campaign, 24 Hour Home Care will donate 3% of the gross proceeds of all new clients in October to the American Cancer Society. In addition, the company will donate an additional $1 every time someone in the community asks about the pink polos.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, following skin cancer. Today, approximately 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime and it is the leading cause of cancer death among women ages 35 to 54. Although these numbers may seem frightening, research shows that the mortality rate could decrease by 30% if all women age 50 and older received annual screenings.
