24 Hour Home Care Named a Best Place to Work by the LA Business Journal for Second Consecutive Year
For the second year in a row, 24 Hour Home Care has made it on to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list. Since 2012, the company has opened two new offices, and added just as many new employees as this has necessitated. Its rapid growth has catapulted it from the “Small Business” category to the “Medium-Sized Companies” category, which features companies with 50~249 employees. 24 Hour Home Care ranked #14 in the Medium-Sized Companies category out of its annual list of 100 best companies to work for.
It joins the ranks of Intuit, Kaiser Permanente, Edmunds.com, Riot Games, and other notable alumni. The assessment process consists of an employer questionnaire regarding benefits and policies, as well as an employee survey on engagement and satisfaction.
24 Hour Home Care prides itself in a company culture that promotes communication and teamwork. Its employees regularly enjoy birthday dinners, sporting events, tickets to performances, and weekend trips for a job well done, in addition to annual company anniversary and holiday parties. Benefits include three weeks PTO per year, as well as the day off for your birthday.
Founded in 2008 by David Allerby, Ryan Iwamoto, and Tyner Brenneman-Slay, 24 Hour Home Care has expanded to seven locations throughout California, and nearly seventy employees.
