24 Hour Home Care’s CEO, David Allerby, is Named a Finalist for the Healthcare Leadership Awards by the Los Angeles Business Journal

5David Allerby, 24 Hour Home Care’s CEO and Co-founder, has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a Finalist for its 2014 Healthcare Leadership Awards, which is awarded to individuals and organizations that have made strides in helping Angelenos receive better healthcare. The Los Angeles Business Journal selects leaders that make an impact on both lines- those who lead the frontlines of healthcare and those that protect the bottom lines in helping Angelenos receive better healthcare. Finalist and Winners in eleven award categories will be announced at the Awards Reception at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel on April 23rd.

Since 24 Hour Home Care was founded in 2008 by Allerby, Iwamoto, and Brenneman-Slay, the three have introduced a higher standard of care for seniors and the developmentally disabled in Los Angeles. 24 Hour Home Care’s overarching mission- helping others- shapes the way it is operated. Emphasizing 24-hour access to live support, flexibility, and extensive Caregiving screening and training, the company strives to provide loved ones with quality care that will allow them to continue living full and active lifestyles. At the vanguard of developing Caregiver training processes, 24 Hour Home Care has created a proprietary Fall Prevention Certification Program in conjunction with the Fall Prevention Program of Contra Costa County. Just this month, 24 Hour Home Care introduced Whole 24™, a suite of materials to assist our Caregivers with providing diagnoses-specific care to clients with long-term health conditions.
