24 Hour Home Care Wins Best Places to Work by the LA Business Journal

24 Hour Home Care was voted number four on the small business category list of the 100 Best Places to Work in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal. The growing company is now among well-known companies such as Edward Jones, Kaiser Permanente and 1st Century Bank for their creative ways to keep employees happy in the workplace. This is the first time 24 Hour Home Care has applied for the honor.

24 Hour Home Care provides an optimal work/life balance for its employees. They enjoy regular company outings for birthdays, job anniversaries and promotions, are awarded with trips, iPads, and gift cards for outstanding job performances, and they start and end everyday with an interactive game of Catch Phrase to get everyone energized. “Half day Fridays” are also given to employees once a month as appreciation for their hard work.

“Being voted one of the best places to work in Los Angeles is a great honor, even more so because it was our employees that decided. We have always been dedicated to creating a great company culture where employees are excited to come to work every day. They are one of the biggest reasons for our success and continued growth,” said Tyner Slay, Owner & Co-founder. “We appreciate how hard our employees work, and we like to show them that what they do for our company is never taken for granted.”

24Hr Homecare is a rapidly expanding company in the healthcare industry capitalizing on the aging of the U.S. population. The mission is to help individuals continue a full, active and healthy way of life providing premier non-medical home care tailored to their needs. They have shown strong growth during the down economy and have continued expansion plans going into 2012.

Started in 2008, founders David Allerby, Tyner Slay and Ryan Iwamoto have grown 24 Hour Home Care from a small office in Torrance, to now five different locations across California including Culver City, Torrance, Irvine, Encino and Walnut Creek. They now have over 40 employees and are expecting to grow to over 50 by next year.
