24 Hour Home Care 3rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive
It is important to us to make a difference and give back to the community we serve. We strive to contribute through various charities, donations, philanthropic events, and volunteering. Through out the month of December we held our 3rd Annual Holiday Toy Drive benefiting the children and families of the Westside Regional Center. Through generous donations from our partners below we were able to collect over 1000 toys this year!
On December 21, 2010, we brought the 1000+ toys over to the Westside Regional Center and set them up to hand out to families. We organized the toys based off of gender and age group. We then had the parents of the children come in to pick out the toys they thought would be appropriate. After picking out the toys, our volunteers gift wrapped the toys so the children would be able to open up presents at their homes on Christmas day!
Because of the support, we were able to ensure that over 250 children did not have a giftless holiday.
