I just want to say I struggled six months with another caregiver in 2008, but my estate trustee found me 24 Hour Home Care as my needs were not being met at that agency. I am pleased with 24 Hour Home Care as they have made every effort to find the most comfortable caregivers possible for me to be driven to places I otherwise could not access, and have greatly improved my quality of life. Kudos and gratitude to you, David, for allowing us to have Rosie in our lives as my 86 yo aunt Mary’s caregiver. Mary is feisty, has dementia, hip pains, no friends beyond her cat, chain smokes, keeps her home dark, windows closed; watches sports TV incessantly, and reminisces about her tennis-playing days… is generally grouchy and ungrateful for any help extended to her, especially from her older sisters. After interviewing Rosie, we had a strong hunch that she and Mary would make a connection. There are no words to describe the difference Rosie has made in my aunt’s life, who now eats better, her home is sunlit and (relatively) airy, window are open, is exercised, and has the demeanor of a woman who is not as lonely anymore.
