24Hr HomeCare recently launched it’s new branch in Culver City to cover the Western, Northern, and Central parts of Los Angeles as well as the San Fernando Valley. The Culver City branch will allow 24Hr HomeCare to better service those areas of Los Angeles by recruiting local caregivers and having a centralized office location so the 24Hr staff can be readily available for a home assessment within a 2 hour time frame.

2nd Annual 24Hr HomeCare Holiday Toy Drive

24Hr HomeCare held its 2nd Annual Toy Drive benefiting the children and families at the Westside Regional Center. The Westside Regional Center’s mission to empower people with developmental disabilities and their families to choose and access community services that facilitate a quality of life comparable to persons without disabilities. Volunteering at the TrinityKids Hospice FUNraising Event

24Hr HomeCare recently volunteered at the TrinityKids FUNraising event held at the American Girl Place at the Grove. The event was held on November 8, 2009 to help raise funds for the TrinityKids Foundation. The event was a success!!! The TrinityKids Foundation raised approximately $45,000 this year, $15,000 more than last year. All of the families and children that attended the event had a great time and we look forward to volunteering next year.

24Hr HomeCare was recently honored by the City of Torrance for holding a blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross to benefit the Blood Bank at Torrance Memorial Hospital. 24Hr HomeCare was presented with an award recognizing the company for being involved in the community. The award was presented at City Hall by the Mayor and City Council.

24Hr HomeCare and Chili’s event to benefit the Beach Cities Health District

24Hr HomeCare is partnering up with Chili’s Restaurant to help benefit the Beach Cities Health District Holiday Gift Bag Drive. The Beach Cities Health District is a public agency that provides a variety of health and wellness programs to the residents of Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Hermosa Beach. They currently focus on keeping people out of hospitals through a variety of preventative programs. Each year, the Beach Cities Health District provides Holiday Gift Bags to seniors and disabled adults living in the Beach Cities of Los Angeles.

If you bring the flyer below on August 27th from 11am to 11pm, Chili’s will donate 10% of the sales from your meal to the Beach Cities Health District’s Holiday Gift Bag Drive. If you have any questions about the event, feel free to call 310-375-5353 and ask for Tyner Slay

24Hr HomeCare partnered up with the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive to benefit the blood bank at Torrance Memorial. The blood drive was held in the parking lot in front of the 24Hr HomeCare’s office. We were extremely happy with the results getting a total of 35 people to donate blood surpassing our goal of 25. We would like to thank all of the volunteers who participated and helped benefit a good cause. Below are some pictures of the event…

The owners of 24Hr HomeCare recently volunteered at the Walk for Multiple Sclerosis on Sunday April 19th held at the Rose Bowl. The event was held to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis and the continued fight to find a cure. The money you raised at the event will support education, advocacy, research and local programs that enhance the quality of life for people with MS and their families. Tyner, David, and Ryan woke up bright and early to help set up the booths, the running area, and lunch area. After setting up the walk site, the owners helped to check in walkers and direct them to the starting line.

Valentine’s Day Party at The Rehab Centre of Beverly Hills

24Hr HomeCare was proud to participate in a Valentine’s Day event at the Rehabilitation Centre of Beverly Hills. Leena Bautista, director of recreational services, provided the food and drinks while 24Hr HomeCare provided the entertainment and dessert. The entertainer was none other than renown singer/song writer, Meghan McGovern. Meghan provided residents with a variety of contemporary and classical love songs.
