Alz association24Hr HomeCare will be participating in the Alzheimer’s Association annual Memory Walk held on November 7th 2010 in Century City at the Century City Park. The Memory Walk is held to assist with raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support. 24Hr HomeCare has set its fund raising goal to $2,400 and team member goal of 25 people.  If you would like to donate or join the 24Hr Team then click on the link below:

24Hr HomeCare’s Second Annual MS Walk

The 24Hr HomeCare Team 24Hr HomeCare attended the MS Walk for the second year in a row!! We were proud to be part of the thousands of people from the Southern California who came out to support a good cause. The 24Hr HomeCare team was able to raise a total of $1,758 to help the MS Society in the elimination of MS. We would like to thank everyone who participated or donated to the cause and we look forward to next year!!!

2nd Annual 24Hr HomeCare Holiday Toy Drive

The Westside Regional Center’s mission to empower people with developmental disabilities and their families to choose and access community services that facilitate a quality of life comparable to persons without disabilities. Volunteering at the TrinityKids Hospice FUNraising Event

24Hr HomeCare recently volunteered at the TrinityKids FUNraising event held at the American Girl Place at the Grove. The event was held on November 8, 2009 to help raise funds for the TrinityKids Foundation. The event was a success!!! The TrinityKids Foundation raised approximately $45,000 this year, $15,000 more than last year. All of the families and children that attended the event had a great time and we look forward to volunteering next year.

City of torrance recognition of 24Hr Homecare 24Hr HomeCare was recently honored by the City of Torrance for holding a blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross to benefit the Blood Bank at Torrance Memorial Hospital. 24Hr HomeCare was presented with an award recognizing the company for being involved in the community. The award was presented at City Hall by the Mayor and City Council.

24Hr HomeCare and Chili’s event to benefit the Beach Cities Health District

chilis24Hr HomeCare is partnering up with Chili’s Restaurant to help benefit the Beach Cities Health District Holiday Gift Bag Drive. The Beach Cities Health District is a public agency that provides a variety of health and wellness programs to the residents of Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Hermosa Beach. They currently focus on keeping people out of hospitals through a variety of preventative programs. Each year, the Beach Cities Health District provides Holiday Gift Bags to seniors and disabled adults living in the Beach Cities of Los Angeles.

If you bring the flyer below on August 27th from 11am to 11pm, Chili’s will donate 10% of the sales from your meal to the Beach Cities Health District’s  Holiday Gift Bag Drive. If you have any questions about the event, feel free to call 310-375-5353 and ask for Tyner Slay
